EB INTERIOR

In the 1820s, Joo Chiat was well known for coconut, cotton and pepper plantation. Bluring the boundary of history and present by redesigning the space in relation to the essence of the past. The fusion of cafe and coffeeshop with the introduction of grid and planes allow the new shell to hold the old soul. This project allow us to analysis the acutal site and develop a scheme for the shophouse design.
